Pros

You get paid. Getting paid is the only benefit to this job.

Cons

The Seattle call center is great. The Boise office is terrible. The call center manager seems to think her staff isn’t doing their job unless they’re writing people or actively trying to find reasons to write people up. Supervisors are constantly looking for any reason to pull you in and talk to you about something they saw you do or not do. It doesn’t matter if your stats are good and you’re awesome at your job, you’re not immune to being targeted. Of course they find reasons to write people up but that’s because they’re specifically looking for it. Nobody is perfect so if you go looking for something then you’re going to find it. Maybe you accidentally stayed in after call work for too long, maybe you went to break a few minutes before your scheduled time because you had to use the bathroom and didn’t want to get stuck on a call, you know, things humans do. Toxic environment, poorly trained supervisors, call center manager is not a nice person. Union reps are completely useless but that’s probably an Idaho thing. All they do is sit in and take notes. They do nothing to help and if you try to get their help some of them even just go gossip to the supervisors about what you said to them, totally unprofessional. Stay away.
