Very poor and in some cases nonexistent company and job onboarding processes. It was a sink or swim work group. Top down, command and control, micro management old school style that inhibited creativity, innovation, and operational excellence. There was a lot of spying and back stabbing as people felt threatened in their job. Management talked a good talk but did not walk the walk. The Safeway merger had deep scars and culture wars that made it impossible to work cross functionally. Yet management put huge pressure and made you accountable to work in this dysfunctional environment. There were too many clicks and silos to gain value from an enterprise perspective.

1. Product will spend hours in planning and designing . They will give you minutes for execution and will make every project as a high priority 2. Will make you work on weekends and late nights without compensating or giving time off 3. They have a very subservient culture and don’t listen to employees . 4. They will work on fixing one problem of one person in management rather than problem of 100 customers . They are management focused company . 5. Product management has no idea what they are doing and will keep changing direction 6. They beat drums on diversity and equality but fail terribly . 7. They had people quit in matter of few weeks
