      Another retail rat race

      Pros

      Job stability. Weekly Pay. Sign on bonus. Small quarterly bonus for store for hitting budget marks.

      Cons

      Just another retail job: Low staffing with lots of demands that you do not see any compensation for reaching your goals. They have trouble keeping good technicians. Pharmacy management is largely on you to meet metrics and they guilt you into working harder by saying "pharmacy jobs are being threatened" if we don't work to get more vaccinations and consulting fees. Many days of frustration with operating system, management being unresponsive to suggestions or criticism, staffing issues. No PTO until 1 year of work. Medical benefits with high deductible even with HMO. No bonus for hitting pharmacy metrics.

      Pros

      Better Pay that most grocery stores and the benefits are pretty good.

      Cons

      There is lots of micromanaging from higher management and corporate officials, a lack of work-life balance, constant gossiping and high-school behavior from management. They will cut hours when things are "slow,' they do not respect employees' availability.

      don't work in the deli

      some people that I have met there have been great and taught me a lot

      the manager of the deli is super lazy, will talk for hours with other co workers and will pass on her duties to there people and leaves her employees high and dry and only thinks about herself. when these concerns were voiced multiple times by multiple people to the general manager of the store I was told to shut up and if I had any other issues to suck it up and keep working. the whole store is ran very childish and favorites will be chosen
