Alcami is a great company to work for. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but it’s more than worth the effort. Management is there for support and always addresses issues quickly and respectfully. Alcami is inclusive and welcoming!

I’ve been working here at Alcami for almost 5 years now. Here’s my rundown on the company: PAY + BENEFITS The benefits here are really good. They offer full insurance, a 401K plan with a 5% match, and plenty of vacation and PTO. The pay is good for the industry. They also offer paternity/maternity leave, bereavement leave, etc., and make sure that you know all of this as soon as you start working for them. COWORKERS + ENVIRONMENT The people here at Alcami are wonderful. I look forward to talking to my peers every day, and I’ve made a lot of new friends here. Everyone is very intelligent and hard-working, and it’s nice to be surrounded by people who care as much about progress and innovation as I do. WORK-LIFE BALANCE This is probably the weakest of all of these categories. This is a high-end, successful company, and if you want to succeed here you’re going to have to work for it, at least in the beginning. Things will stabilize after a little, though. We work hard and accomplish a lot here! EDUCATION + TRAINING Since this is a science-based organization, I think the quality of training we receive and the ability to learn new skills is very important. Alcami offers a good training program for all of the different positions, and I personally feel as though I’m constantly learning new concepts and building upon what I already know. This is probably the best part about working for Alcami — you’ll never get bored here.
