Terrible work/life balance. Did not feel supported by managements

You are responsible for managements short and insistent timelines as well as any corners cut by the development group. Money is all the executive teams care about and you are expected to work for so many hours as needed without compensation or comp time. 50hrs a week is expected . Additionally you're career advancement is dependent on the executive team who care nothing for you or your goals and will lie to you about group changes to help your career advancement in order to keep you from quitting. They pay more then competators in Wilmington but ~20% less then industry standard and the annual raise is less then cost of living increases for the area 5 years running so you effectively make less every year you are employed . Favoritism is rampent and sycophants are rewarded and real science is undermined by the good enough mindset.
