Pros

I work in procurement. Decent benefits Rewards employees who work hard There are many trainings to learn excel, project management, negotiating, sourcing strategies, etc. The work changes often enough to keep things interesting. The pay is good. Some groups allow work from home occasionally and jeans on Fridays.

Cons

Many groups work way more than 40 hours a week and it's expected you do the same. Not all groups are like this though It is not a good time to work here until the company splits. There are fears of layoffs and there is a lot of shuffling of people around. Wait until second half of 2016 or longer if you want stability.

Great Supervision by Mentor. Freedom to approach project on your own angle.

Cons

Dull Corporate Culture. Not too many social activities that get people together outside of work.
