Pay isn't the best, poor communication, management can better. Lot of obstacle to performing your actual job.

The Medical Affairs function has been totally destroyed by the new management. The top executives are unable to see this ofcourse. Medical function used to be an extremely important enabler to business. Now it is just a function to generate numbers that managers can use to get bigger bonus checks. Medical is not bringing any value to business, and business doesn’t even talk to medical anymore. This is just because a system working in America is being pushed (by manager who has no idea of whats outside America) for other countries where it wont work. There is a huga arrogance and pressure, no one is working as a team anymore, instead trying to show superiority and feed their ego. Excluding few good. Most of the people in medical affairs is waiting for the first opportunity to leave to another company. Unfortunately years of effort to build the value and relationship has been destroyed by few new heads in 6 months.
