Pros

Co-workers, supervisors, managers, and a few directors are lovely to work with. A great place to get industry experience, and decent pay for the area. The work we do and the what were involved in is cool.

Cons

High turn over within GMP Downstream caused by a shift to a new schedule that we did not have the trained operators to handle, despite expressing these concerns to supervisors and managers. We lost the most experienced operators to the expansion of other departments, and now none of us are really properly trained. A training room was created to help with this, but that's laughable at best and not a solution to our problems. The workload is unrealistic and the amount of times we've been expected to stay well past our shift is outrageous. There is no work/life balance at Aldevron. You live to work, not work to live. Almost every person in leadership who actually listened to us, fought for us, and seemed to care are now gone.

Pros

Amazing to be part of the solution for the pandemic. Demand is incredible, so we work really hard but it feels like history is being made for the company and the world. Can't believe this is in Fargo!

Cons

High growth means it can be stressful, but I can see the company is working to support employees and is hiring.

Pros

Work in QC is highly detailed, we have all of the tools that we need to complete our work, and our work spaces are tidy. Our department likes to do cultural events such as potlucks and secret santas, all voluntarily. Flexible schedule. Work is enjoyable.

Cons

There are not enough desks, therefore many analysts have a "floating desk" in a hallway near QC. Since a new inventory system has been implemented, it has been extremely difficult to get materials in a timely manner. Pay is low for the work that is done.
