Someone needs to come in here and CLEAN HOUSE. I am still here currently, and every day I walk into a drama fest. People here are given supervisor roles when they refuse to handle personnel issues within their departments. Thats LITERALLY one of the roles of a supervisor. They would rather wish it away than be a mediator to help others resolve conflicts and work better together. The turnover rate here is EXTREME and the county just turns away like whatever! Well, it's time this place gets turned upside down. Management doesnt back their caseworkers when a client gets angry and complains. It's just a mad house and you're not going to here about it exvept from ex staff because everyone in this place is too afraid their review will be linked to them. I signed up for the workload. I signed up for all the deadlines, the stress, and the hours. What I DID NOT sign up for was management dismissing concerns about the hostile work environment, backbiting, supervisors throwing others under the bus, the board years ago staring at an ex CPS worker in a public meeting like she was just a 'disgruntled employee'... no what that woman said is absolutely true about this county office. PLEASE come in here and interview staff members in private so you can help us. We do not have the manpower to assist this county, its citizens, schools, etc if WE KEEP LEAVING.
