Pros
I come to work every day with a long list of things to do, but I'm excited to get them done. I don't notice that I'm working and the day speeds by because I'm so occupied. The owner of the company makes regular visits to say hello to his employees, talking to anyone and everyone as though they are an equal. He genuinely cares and remembers details about our last conversation. The leadership is trained in Servant Leadership, so they care about me and what's going on in my life while I'm busy producing. This company recognizes potential over paperwork. There are many 2-year degree holders in upper management because the company recognized their potential rather than simply a piece of paper.
Cons
A shortage of people. Because our culture is fast-paced, it is difficult to keep people who want to contribute more than their presence. A high team spirit is necessary to feel welcome and maintain happiness. There is only so much that leadership can do to make people feel welcome and motivate them to work. The rest is up to the employee
