Business Outlook
Pros
Good Benefits, predictable hours, and opportunities to grow in benefits delivery operations. Also, it's a diverse culture.
Cons
If you are on the phones, you must know that you will speak with people of all kinds and in every state of emotion and you sometimes need a deep emotional well to get through the day. The job demands accuracy. Also, it was very difficult to request time off unless it was requested 6 months in advance. The ability to move outside of benefits delivery (call center) operations depends on learning new skills outside of your employment like through university, for instance.
