Pros

Basic corporate benefits - basic insurance, small amount of flexi benefits. Recognisable brand. Market rate salary. Horizontal movement opportunities.

Cons

Culture is cold and broken. Political. A lot of framing and manipulation, trying to distract and gloss over problems. Lack of communication across regions and departments. Turnover is high. People on top don't listen to new ideas, just stick to their old ways. No breakthroughs or fresh perspectives. Many Directors are condescending, hypocritical, micromanagers who are not held accountable and keep getting away with bad (even inappropriate) behavior. WLB depends on the job and team. One may have a better experience if they luck out with an amazing team with an amazing Manager, but everybody knows that the company 1000% does NOT care, will want you to work 24/7 and will drop you without a 2nd thought in order to get better numbers. Unrealistic timelines and expectations with a lack of resources/ guidance/ support. A lot of "opportunities" for work that you are not qualified for and not trained on. No hybrid work arrangement.

No longer a great place to work

Pros

Great products, most people are great, salary ok, customers are great.

Cons

In my personal opinion, unrealistic targets, new senior leaders in region and local has led to a sharp decline in culture in past 12-18 months, there is no trust from leaders & significant micromanagement, company very slow to do anything & competition are taking lots of business. Lost many great people in past couple of years due to the above, & I fear more to follow. Not much trust by employees with some of local leadership team anymore.

Pros

- Good compensation - Good travel policy - you have a great flexibility on where to stay and scrutiny on expenses is limited to a few managers. Everyone else is relaxed. - SVP and MD changed recently - he seems to have a notion to implement more progressive communication strategies and culture than the previous one. - Product is so good, it pushes this company forward day after day.

Cons

- Terrible corporate culture - customer is in the center of attention. At least that's what is stated in every communication. It would be fine if employees were taken care of. EMEA is notorious for it's against-the-employees practices. Bad performing employees are simply moved to different, often associate-director roles. - You are informed of none of your rights or benefits you could claim if only you were told about them. It seems like you can get more out of the company only by learning about the failures of others, so you know what to avoid or what you might be entitled to. - No social interactions - only recently social drinks became a social thing. There are no employee facilities where people are encouraged to hang out, other than a pool table. - Feels like a corporate rat race, led by some senior hr managers who are steering people against each other behind the closed doors. - Terrible vibe in the office - Since relocation was announced, workload dropped to zero, and no-one is really working. I didn't think It was possible for this office to be even more empty and quiet. - Biggest drawback - it is up to a handful of individuals to make decisions for a whole company. No matter how good your project is unless you are deep in politics you can forget about it. Your manager will most likely be too afraid to push anything for you as well.
