Pros
Alignment has moved from a start-up to becoming a leading healthcare organization in the Medicare Advantage and healthcare delivery arm industry. Everyone from the CEO to the front-line team members contribute to the success that Alignment has achieved. There is both a level of independence and team work that is provided by senior leadership that is greatly appreciated. The message is clear- put the patient first, build quality processes and programs to support our patients and providers- and the rest will follow. CEO, John Kao makes time to meet with several others outside of his executive leadership team in order to understand first-hand what is working/what is not. Organization is also very forward thinking about applying the best technology to support patients, employees, and provider partners .
Cons
There are several high priority projects that need to be completed/executed over the next several months , which will require thoughtful and effective planning in order to meet target timelines without burning out team members. This is not a con, but just something to be mindful of so that we successfully support these teams and departments.
