Pros

Job description for Remote Nurse Health Specialist said "Must be flexible with schedule as position is active 24 hours 7 days a week. This includes alternative shifts such as day, evening, or overnight, weekends, and holiday coverage". I had a screening interview with a recruiter and he texts me a couple hours before our scheduled time and said "I meant to mention, but the schedule for this role is an overnight position". They never mentioned it was solely an overnight position. I wish they had so I wouldn't have spent hours preparing for the interview and writing a cover letter.

Cons

Inaccurate job description. Should have written it was a Full Time Overnight shift. Waste of my time applying for this. I was okay with a "flexible, rotating shift" and even occasionally working overnight, but not all overnight shifts. Unprofessional job description.

Pros

Family coverage is offered for medical and dental

Cons

The benefits are really expensive out of payroll and the coverage is awful. I couldn’t afford to need care. All plans offered have high deductibles, high out of pocket maximums, and some basic care isn’t included. This is really sad that we had to serve members who had great benefits at no cost to them but the workers can’t afford to see a doctor ourselves.

Pros

-I work from Home -They hire you on the spot

Cons

-horrible system from the age of the dinosaurs -The staff is not properly trained -There is not proper couching -The attendance policy is extremely strict, as even a one-minute delay results in an occurrence, which can add pressure in day-to-day work. -During a call evaluation, I was scored as not offering the authorized representative form. After reviewing the call recording, I confirmed that I had provided this information, indicating a discrepancy in the evaluation. My supervisor offered rebuttal Supervisor supported rebuttal request, but it was denied the lie. -A large portion of calls consist of repeat contacts from members who do not feel confident in the accuracy or completeness of the information previously provided members always call back. -There is a lack of regular group meetings, which can make communication less effective. -Horrible place to work
