Great Potential

Pros

I have been blessed to have supervisors who understand the importance & flexibility of work-life balance. I work with a great group of co-workers - we are a team both in the office & outside of business hours. There are company wide meetings for the benefit of the employees to receive a "snapshot" of the health of the organization as well as present new programs/features in the pipeline. Since being with the company, I have seen a lot of growth & proud that this start up organization's health plan is now recognized as one of the top 5 medicare advantage health plans in CA.

Cons

There is A LOT of turn over & constant reorganization changes. The company is very top heavy & I feel some lower positioned employees are not receiving competitive salaries. Across a good majority of departments, day to day communication is lacking.

Pros

The company is innovative and moving rapidly. Nice to see the work you do actually has an impact. Work with smart people who are creative and hardworking. Good work ethic - high performing culture

Cons

No strategic direction from above. Things change very rapidly with little communication across the organization.

Unusual experience

Pros

Paid on time, consistent schedule, and remote.

Cons

It's very dystopian-ish. You don't know what any of your leaders look like and the only interaction that you have with them is when they send you a copy and paste message about excessive call or hold time. The customer service department is excluded from all meetings, even the "all employee meetings". Maybe that's a good thing, I dont know. Call center work is bad no matter where it's at, but this experience was just different in a strange way.
