I left a Leadership position in the medical diagnostics Industry to join Alignment Healthcare. One of my main reasons for joining was the excellent leadership I saw heading up Alignment Healthcare. I especially appreciate the forward looking vision of our CEO, John Kao, who I have come to admire as a true healthcare improvement advocate for all people, but especially Seniors. He has assembled an Executive Leadership Team who has positively differentiated Alignment Healthcare in the Medicare Advantage space.
Cons
The one constant anywhere in the health care environment these days is change. I experienced dramatic change in the regulation and reimbursement of health care at my previous employer. They did not handle the change very well. Here at Alignment, the Senior Executive Team anticipates change and plans for it. While big change is always disruptive to the work environment, Alignment has done a very good job accounting for change in the planning and execution of their overall vision.
