Pros
Culture - all teams seem to be rowing in the same direction and invest energy in supporting one another. This is one of the hardest things for a young/fast company to maintain, but at the moment it's working incredibly well. Transparency - open communications policy internally and with customers. It's one of my favorite traits about Alkami. Recognition of what parts of the business need attention and willingness to invest early to make improvements. High performance peers - lots of people to learn from and compete with. Definitely a boost to have peers that can contribute to your career growth and development. Consistent strategy - regardless of the company stage, the strategy has remained constant and simple.
Cons
Depends on your frame of mind. Having spent a career in fast growth companies, there is nothing here to complain about. I like quick pace and rate of change. There is a LOT of activity and we're balancing resources to care for each parts of the business as it grows. There are plenty of growing pains, but the culture of transparency and positive problem solving make all the difference in how it feels.
