Pros

Co-workers are some of the best people around. They are helpful, supportive and genuinely nice people.

Cons

Management. After kicking the previous CTO out as well as others in high level positions, they were all replaced by friends of the CTO and appeared to be race-based. Not long after the CTO came on, jobs started getting offshore "in order to get more done". Later, that offshore group was announced to become a company entity residing in that country. Unreasonable amounts of work are continually demanded as well as stretch goals which are nothing more than an excuse to force devs to work nights and weekends. Devs also are required to work unpaid support off hours.

Pros

Great co-workers. Great clients. Seeing clients successfully use our product.

Cons

They've gutted the family culture that built their company. Leadership now openly states that work-life balance takes a backseat to hitting numbers. That's not just short-sighted—it's destructive. Their restructuring decisions are baffling. They're laying off the people who built the company while making friendship hires. The disconnect is staggering. How do they expect loyalty from remaining employees while shipping their colleagues' jobs overseas? Most concerning is how removed their leadership has become. They issue directives from the C-suite without understanding what's actually happening on the ground. Real leaders engage with their teams. They ask questions. They listen. These executives don't. The market sees through the rhetoric. Their stock performance reflects what employees already know: there's a fundamental disconnect between what leadership says and what is really happening with the culture. This isn't sustainable. They can't cut and offshore their way to growth while destroying morale and hemorrhaging institutional knowledge. The market is sending them a clear message. Either leadership makes real changes—not just talk—or they'll watch the continued erosion of both value and talent. The choice seems obvious, yet here we are.
