Pros

Used to be a great place to work and has competitive pay, and good benefits. There are opportunities for growth (if they like you), as they keep up with current technology - in a cutting edge environment.

Cons

They highly tout their values and culture. However... If you enjoy a high school-like environment, cliques, back stabbing and EXTREME favoritism, this is the place for you. If they don't "like" you even though your performance is exceptional (indicated by your yearly review and compensation increase) they won't fire you, but instead find ways to push you out. This is a horrible environment and you are constantly walking egg shells. In addition, the QA team was disassembled and placed under development after the QA managers were pushed out. The development managers and and upper management are very unprofessional and WILL find a way to push you out if you are not a member of the favoritism club.

Very political. Lots of smoke and mirrors

Good equipment. Nice people to work with.

Cons

Very rigid. They act like they are a modern agile company, but in reality they are very inflexible. Some groups are very political where managers have installed their buddies. Everyone is careful not to speak around the cronies. They forced everyone to take a personality test. (no explanation how the data was to be used). Gradually anyone that tested with a certain personality type that they didn't think is right for the job, was let go regardless of performance. Its ridiculous how many good hard-working employees were fired. Lots of turnover.

Lots of inexperienced leaders so easy to push things through; faulty org structure which allows for people to slip through; lack of diversity allows for groupthink - which is awesome!

Cons

Not a welcoming environment or culture; culture split between pre and post-Covid hires; no grasp on recruiting realities; no diversity;
