      Pros

      The health system is on the rise. If you have skills in clinical areas, the sky is the limit. It's a place to proud to work because of the people there. The regular employees are great.

      Cons

      Minorities have zero chance to move into management in any non clinical area. Even with better backgrounds and more knowledge, the non minority is always moved up. Looking at a management meeting for the largest hospital, will only find a handful of non white faces in the crowd.

      Pros

      Staff like family, the backbone that keeps this carcas limping along.

      Cons

      Plagued with a history of mismanagement at the highest levels for years. This is not a subjective view, it is the history of this once diamond in the rough...now tarnished with loads of debt and pending bankrupcy. Middle management minefields everywhere. The once competing hospitals within the system have their political infighting as well as disregard for the small independent physician practices.
