      Pros

      Good benefits. Decent salary. Senior management very attuned to staff concerns.

      Cons

      Most positions are contracted with the Federal government and by their very nature are temporary. Was only given 2 weeks notice prior to termination due to "budgetary" constraints. However, everyone else on the team was successfully re-positioned to other roles. HHhhmmmm???

      Pros

      Good launching point for people just starting their career. Just don't stay too long...move on as quickly as you can.

      Cons

      This is a little company that grew too quickly. HR doesn’t understand any of the benefits they offer and cannot properly advise their employees. They repeatedly promote male employees and pass over female employees doing three times the work. They defraud their employees by misclassifying them as exempt in order to cheat them on overtime. And they have no understanding of (or seemingly interest in) their obligations under equal opportunity, discrimination, and anti-retaliation labor laws.

      Pros

      Growing organization - have gone from 40 to 200 in two years and continuing to grow! Genuine and talented people make AST what it is. Diverse government client base. Overall AST has a great company culture/atmosphere. Great Leadership Team. Very good benefits. Work/life balance.

      Making sure our processes stay current with our growth - good problem to have!
