Pros

RPO group was approachable, helpful, and passionate about their roles. They have excellent benefits as you would expect from a large company yet the senior management seems like a smaller company from their support and encouragement of employees. They train and mentor their staff well so you are well positioned to grow your career if you're still green.

Cons

I really enjoyed working for Allegis. Pay was about average. Sometimes it can be difficult to be onsite at client but not a client employee but that's how the RPO is successful.

Pros

Nice offices in a Central location

Cons

Where do I begin... I was promised progression in my interview for the Talent Acquisition role. I was told 'you don't have to wait for your manager to die to be promoted,' strange thing to say but I thought finally here's a company that understands the importance of progression. Upon joining the company I found out that they don't even have a progression path for Talent Acquisition - 1st let down. They wanted me to find fresh grads that play sports, anything else 'isn't the right fit', if you're not into sports you won't fit into their laddy environment, the sales floor is full of people who are mini clones of eachother. Management was a nightmare to work with, they never gave feedback so I couldn't pick up what was wrong with the candidates I was putting forward to the business and sometimes they just refused to interview candidates because they were too busy. Complete lack of respect and rudeness all round. The interview process was painful. Some candidates would be called in for interviews 3, 4 sometimes even 5 times and then told they were unsuccessful. It was impossible for me to give feedback because the majority of the time I wasn't getting anything from the hiring managers and when I did it was responses like this, 'not the right fit for my team, ' or 'something didn't feel right,' or (and this is a good one), 'great candidate, such a good find, just not the right fit'. Others included 'the candidate is into gaming, won't fit in', and 'too academic for me' which was a nice way of saying the candidate was a bit of a geek and not laddy enough. It was awful seeing these candidates get their hopes up only to be let-down. My direct manager worked part time and did nothing to help me reach my hiring target and resolve issues I was having. She was more concerned about her own hires and hitting her own targets. Rather than helping us she would go on a 2hr coffee catch up with the other TA manager that she speaks to all the time, sometimes even just after a formal meeting - what can you possibly have to catch up about after already speaking? With her limited support due to her part time hours and prioritising meetings (an excuse to not work for a couple of extra hours) with someone she speaks to all time, I was left alone and struggled with my role. In the end (4 months in) my colleague and I were asked to leave or get sacked as we weren't hitting our targets. We were given no support, no structured training, no one asked us where do you think it's going wrong so we could point out our part time manager doesn't care about us and the sales managers won't give us the time of day. Typical sink or swim environment and quite possibly the worst company I have ever worked for!

Pros

I am sharing my review in bullet points, so that one can quickly go through my review without sounding bromidic - The so called Pros of a company that is formed in 1981 !!!!! * Employees get salary on time * Get to learn a lot due to lack of workload management, have to stretch hard beyond capacity! * Not much of micromanagement * Even if your performance diminishes, be assured that EASi won't throw you out!!!

Cons

Lets start with the Cons w.r.t the last of point of "Pros" - * If a company is filled up with low performers and highly laid-back employees, and the company is equally reluctant enough to get rid of them, then imagine where the company is heading!!! * Considering the above mentioned "Pros", this company is ideal for a fresher, get enrolled, learn new tools and techniques , slog like crazy and jump to new organization for better compensation. Note - Compensation is just too low irrespective of your designation, its below industry standard, when we say "below industry standard", means the workload and the compensation is absolutely unjustifiable * Highly incapable support functions, a time will come and you will realize that why these admin and operation team is needed!! when we have to do everything. Statutory warning - Be careful if you are availing EASi Transport Facility, Transportation sucks big time, I have witnessed employees crying for not able to handle the torture of EASi transport. *Extremely reactive organization, hard to believe that EASi formed in 1981 and still remains in the reactive environment. Everything happens at the last moment, some will be sleeping and others will be burdened with work! * No growth, even if you are promoted, be assured that you are promoted to get more work and less salary. * No stand-alone ERP system for this 35 years old company !!! This company doesn't have an internal business communication messenger * There are employees who have realized that they are too lazy to take a lead, bring change in themselves or in the organization, or even search job elsewhere, also incapable to get opportunities outside EASi and thus decided to remain in their comfort zone. End result is this company remains packed up with incompetent employees right from freshers to top level management, no real corrective actions and hence negative growth of the organization.
