Pros

Benefits are OK, managers are nice and offer help when you need it, co-workers are great. Remote work allowed for some people. You get small raises throughout the year.

Cons

This company focus heavily on metrics. We are required to meet productivity standards aka doing a minimum amount of work per hour and the higher ups can see how much work we are getting done. At the same time, you will get popped by management and QA if you make mistakes. Training is not very thorough and leaves you confused, you will be shown some powerpoint slides and then are thrown into the work. There is a lack of communication among supervisors. Remote work is allowed but is is very looked down on. The CEO is out of touch and is trying to force everyone back into the office. They give you a lot of PTO but it is VERY difficult to use. Plan on calling in sick often. The pay is absolutely abysmal, starting pay in some departments is $14 an hour even for employees in HCOL areas. The workload never ends, managers are always bugging people to work overtime even though they rarely ever do it themselves. Not much opportunity for advancement.

Leadership at its worst

Pros

Compensation structure has improved by leaps and bounds. Thanks to parent company, technology continues to get better and better. Middle management truly cares about employees and does what it can, even with their hands tied.

Cons

Key members of the Senior Leadership team are more focused on their titles (and those titles of the people they don’t like) instead of caring about employees. Head of HR has no business in her role without serious leadership development. Senior Leaders compete for CEO’s attention and won’t hesitate to throw each other under the bus to better themselves.

Pros

Allied loves to promote from within.

Cons

People promoted from within take more time to develop within their roles but have a good understanding of the industry.
