Pros

Was a good company to work for right out of school. I worked the weekend shift as a processing tech in the core. The benefits were getting experience in a clean room with human tissue.

Cons

Some of my co-workers were extremely unprofessional. There is definitely a disconnect between the workers in the core and the outside office. I still have friends that work there and it seems like they are becoming more and more disgruntled with the management.

Big company with small mom and pop mentality. Lacking in Structure and Stability which Management and Marketing is very weak.

AlloSource’s Mission, Vision and Core Values are at the forefront of what we do. Our employees have the opportunity to help both donor families and tissue recipients through our work. Over the last 20 years, AlloSource has grown into a leader in cellular and tissue therapies and as we’ve grown, we’ve evolved our structure and internal processes.

Pros

Great opportunities to promote within Operations department and develop leadership skills.

Cons

It does not seem that management listened to the concerns of those working in Operations. Their focus was more on meeting the numbers and monetary achievements.

We are glad to hear that you felt AlloSource was a good place to work. In addition to our annual engagement surveys, we also encourage employees and managers to have conversations about concerns. Because we are dedicated to honoring the gift of tissue donation, we are focused on making sure our resources are used efficiently and appropriately.
