Pros

Coworkers are productive and you just go with their vibe with being productive.

Cons

Tasks come in anytime of the day and deadline is usually on the same day. That's aside from the regular responsibilities that we have. Working overtime is the norm because work order needs to be done within the day. It's always a hectic day in here.

We are glad you were inspired by your colleagues’ productivity during your time at AlloSource. Tissue banking is challenging and rewarding work. The nature of the business lends itself to frequent change and assessment of demanding priorities. Leaders do their best to manage employee expectations and urgent deadlines, which are a reality of AlloSource’s business.

Pros

-Mission driven, helps patients live a better quality of life -Processing tissue is rewarding -Good benefits - 4 day work week -over time opportunities

Cons

-Communication here is terrible, between upper management and techs. -There’s a lot of “high school” drama. People will gang up on someone that isn’t liked and tell on them to management to get them fired -Unfortunately there’s a good amount of supervisors and a manager that are not good leaders. It seems to be whom ever is liked best gets promoted, not whom is best suited for the position. This is probably the worst thing about the job. The saying “People quit managers, not jobs” is in full effect here -HIGH turn over rate, that’s why they’re always hiring. It’s mostly because of the pay and the bad leaders that I mentioned -The pay is decent, but doesn’t seem to reflect the very important work that we do -Problems often not solved
