Pros

-Mission driven, helps patients live a better quality of life -Processing tissue is rewarding -Good benefits - 4 day work week -over time opportunities

Cons

-Communication here is terrible, between upper management and techs. -There’s a lot of “high school” drama. People will gang up on someone that isn’t liked and tell on them to management to get them fired -Unfortunately there’s a good amount of supervisors and a manager that are not good leaders. It seems to be whom ever is liked best gets promoted, not whom is best suited for the position. This is probably the worst thing about the job. The saying “People quit managers, not jobs” is in full effect here -HIGH turn over rate, that’s why they’re always hiring. It’s mostly because of the pay and the bad leaders that I mentioned -The pay is decent, but doesn’t seem to reflect the very important work that we do -Problems often not solved

We appreciate your positive feedback on the purposeful work you are doing in your technician role at AlloSource. It is so important! Each of our employees is required to complete the standard application process and must meet the minimum requirements to be considered for a job or promotion. Internal training is then also provided for all roles and leadership levels to ensure growth. We also conduct an annual review of salaries in comparative industries to ensure we offer competitive pay for the important work being done at AlloSource.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a response. AlloSource does amazing work that impacts lives each day. We would not be able to honor the gift we receive from donors without all of our employees who work hard to ensure our grafts are safe and reach as many people as possible. We value our employees’ commitment to the donors, families, and hospitals we touch everyday.

Pros

Coworkers and schedule are great

Cons

Management doesn't care about employees AT ALL - very disrespectful and out of touch. Always finding ways to prevent paying employees what they deserve and treating us like drones. They say they will promote from within, but people have been working here 10+ years and still do not get these opportunities

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback. AlloSource employees are required to complete the standard application process internally and must meet the minimum requirements to be considered for a job or promotion. Our employees tend to stay with AlloSource for a long period of time, so it can take time for some positions to become available, but we work to promote our employees whenever possible. Our technicians are valued employees, and management appreciates the hard work they do to honor the gift of tissue donation and help patients heal.
