Grateful for my time at Allofe

Pros

I worked as an administrative assistant but was always treated with respect. I learned from very smart people. My managers really helped me grow and learn technical things and provided great feedback. I got a raise every six months. Even when I reached the limit of my capabilities, I was given a lot of time to explore other opportunities and encouraged in different ways.

Cons

I cannot complain about anything. The only people who would complain are the ones who either lack the basic passion for work in a company that develops some incredible products

Pros

I worked for AllofE for a number of years and got to work with a highly intelligent and focused team. They really do strive for that balance of work and fun, but what I enjoyed the most was the freedom and flexibility I had to be creative and learn new things. Had it not been for the location, I would have loved to have been able to stick around and benefited from the learning opportunities.

Cons

At times, it could be a little stressful with some tight deadlines, but overall I don't have much to complain about. It is not the place for everyone as you can probably see from some of the posts here. You have to be passionate about the work. Salaries may start lower but if you are passionate and dedicated, you will get pretty significant raises and bonuses.

Pros

-All employees, even entry level part timers, have the opportunity to work on projects essential to the company and gain experience various areas of development and marketing. -Free snacks (not healthy ones, though). -Some social activities: trivia, volleyball, game hour on Fridays

Cons

-Low pay. -High turnover. -Lack of communication about individual roles and expectations. They try to pass this off as a positive, "we don't have the normal heirarchy, no one has a job title" but it makes the company difficult to navigate as a newcomer. -Total absence of any HR department. This isn't an issue one a day-to-day basis, but if you have a conflict with a member of the upper management, there is no chance for resolution. -This company leans very heavily on interns and low-paid part time workers. The marketing staff is hired on a part-time, probationary basis until they "prove themselves." Anyone who asks for a raise is labeled "negative" and pushed out. -Micromanaging upper management (at least on the marketing side).
