      Pros

      Professional services (implementation) staff people are fantastic - almost always willing to go the extra 10 miles for their clients. Most clients are very appreciative for the knowledge/assistance they receive from Professional Services staff members.

      Cons

      Company does NOT believe in work/personal life balance Senior management lies/deliberately misleads employees about state of the company. Delivers defect-laden code to customers Holds implementation people responsible for defects/issues caused by bad code Advancement in Allscripts is based on who you know NOT what you know or accomplish

      Pros

      Depending on your team and your manager being in current political favor, you can have a decent team morale and experience. This is a good place for new college grads needing some experience and those planning on making it their final career stop. Flexibility in schedule if not directly client facing; Some true leaders remain, but are in middle-management so unfortunately things will not be trending positive for Allscripts in the near future.

      See middle-management comment above. Also, while cuts were financially necessary it really is a shame that many quality employees were let go while less than stellar employees remain. High school at its finest. Glad to not have to go into the office everyday.

      I really don't have any good things to say about this hole. Wait...the cafe in Raleigh is pretty good! Grits and tea were awesome!!!

      Cons

      So many I can't type it all. The dept I worked in (at the back near the mailroom) had no organization at all. Leadership was a complete joke all around. Even upper management was a joke!
