Pros
- Never had an issue taking PTO - Free recharge days which we get to take off - Some genuinely good people to work with - Opportunity to work in healthcare and make a difference for hospitals - Covid response was great and allowed us to work from home finally
Cons
- Senior leadership is out of touch with how to properly operate what is first and foremost a software company. They make commitments and set arbitrary deadlines without any regard for how long things actually take to implement. - Prioritization of tasks is extremely poor, everything that goes wrong tends to be an emergency when they are clearly not. - Some items we work on we are just "reinventing the wheel", wasting time without adding much value. Whatever happened to considering "Time to value" ratios? - Employees are severely undervalued here, by as much as 40%! We are asked to do the same amount of work big tech companies do without any of the perks, benefits, or compensation. -Ultimately, it just feels like recently, everything that made Allscripts great has been thrown out the window. No more company sponsored training. Bonuses are low, not guaranteed and honestly kind of pathetic. It's like the company is stuck 5 years in the past but the market is not what it was 5 years ago, it's not even what it was 2 years or even 1 year ago!
