Allscripts believes in strong life/work balance which showed in everything from their support of telecommuting to delivery of benefits.

Cons

Managers and supervisors never seemed to have an overall plan or goal when approaching work or their people.

Pros

I have always enjoyed the attitude and work ethic of my coworkers. I've also been very fortunate to have exceptional direct managers. These are the reasons I've remained with Allscripts.

Cons

I haven't been impressed with the compensation (at times it's been WAY below industry standards) and I don't feel that the company values the individual nearly as much as they should. I also see a huge lack of collaboration between departments/teams. We often have similar projects being worked by different teams creating a waste of resources.
