Working from home the past few years has been a bonus. PTO is exceptional except sales reps can rarely take a week without falling behind and feeling guilty.
Cons
New ownership is creating chaos with their own reps mixed with Allscripts reps. Pay has DRAMATICAKKY decreased over the past few years. Well behind other companies for the same position. Sold off the Hospital and Large Practice part of the company, Allscripts will not recover from this, just the Pro Abulatory unit is left. Mass attrition from all the best sales reps is very telling, not a good place to work, Management has full authority to do as they please with no recourse. That explains the mass employee attrition - company politics and greed have replaced what was once a fair and cohesive work environment. Also, mass attrition from the clients, I can't remember the exact figures - but what I heard was staggering,
