Pros

Allstate has a lot to offer as an employer - challenging work, work/home balance, benefits, etc. , but the best part of working for the company was the people. The relationships I have built over the years will always be remembered!

Cons

Many well qualified employees lost their jobs in 2020 due to the company's reorganization

Pros

Competitive wage increases over the last few years to help some of the wage disparity that was occurring.

Cons

It’s all about fitting square pegs into round holes. Someone has to fit somewhere no matter the sacrifice or if they fit. Meaning their review and merit process is set up for failure. If one of your employees earned any type of corrective action at the beginning of the year and made a complete 180 becoming one of your top performers, it automatically scores them a nearly meets rating for their review per upper management. This gets around and people figure it out and eventually the teams is ran by fear of making any mistakes, lower moral, and the feeling that any hard work they put in will not fix what happened. Really sad environment for employees and puts the front line management team in the line of fire.
