Pros

Once upon a time the company was very good to work for and retire . They used to provide great opportunity to learn and grow. People use to build life size friendships. It used to be a dream company to work for.

Cons

When they fall in love with a team they will provide everything to that team and rest of the company will be stripped of every benefit. Will discriminate between old employees saying they are legacy and new employees who are cool but needs to bribed with free breakfast and snack to make them work. First it started with culture and then cloud and now 2.0 for last three years they spent huge amount on those newly hired. They were provided all sorts of training and even allowed to travel to any conference anywhere in the world and now those leaders and employees are nowhere to be seen and existing employees under tremendous budget cuts. You also cannot be promoted unless you move to a different location you legacy employee. If you have a family and they are under health insurance employee has to pay more, but company doesn’t have to pay more to employees that have family to support.

Pros

Everybody has to have what you’re selling.

Cons

Nobody wants to pay Allstate’s rates. At the end of the day, everyone just wants the cheapest rates and Allstate tries to take the position of the “trusted advisor”. Ha! Nobody is looking for that, they just want to pay $40/mo. for insurance which is also laughable. Almost all the agents are a bunch of bros from the frat house that only want to day drink and play golf tournaments “for a good cause”. What a nasty industry, and Allstate is among the worst.

Pros

You can pretty much wear whatever you want.

Cons

There is no sense of professionalism at this location. Horrible environment to work in, negative, very stressful, and unrealistic expectations.
