Pros

Pretty set work hours. Allstate is a highly recognized name in the Insurance Industry. Brand name recognition is good, and Loyalty among long-time customers enhances the ability to sell additional policy types to a household.

Cons

Because Allstate is a public company, unlike many of their major competitors, it's very important that they report to "Wall Street" what stockholders want to see. Thus, the emphasis seems to be LESS of KEEPING CURRENT customers happy, and rather OFFERING THE MOON to new customers, many times at the sacrifice of loyal long term customers.

Great, but only if you don't have a degree.

Pros

Competitive pay versus others in the industry Generous with PTO Days

Cons

No Saturdays off (unless it's scheduled PTO) We have a lot of PTO but it's very difficult to get any days approved off, usually requires you to request months in advance. Systems are downright pathetic. Health insurance is a joke
