Pros

It helped me grow into a great salesperson and allowed me the opportunity to help many great causes and non-profits with their grant program.

Cons

Constant changing of goals, adding additional hoops to jump through; taking away any type of perks (paying for postcards, etc...), while also decreasing commission. Unknowing suspects are lured in and long gone, along with their up front investment. The public has no idea how many agents have come and gone over the years.

Pros

good work/life balance with programs to help you stay balanced, decent benefits if you are a single person

Cons

difficult to progress internally without relocating, unstable as whole depts are being 'let go' if you don't want to relocate, promotions tend to not be based on skill, typical old school corporate america mindset throughout
