Excellent place to work

Pros

The company allows to have a balanced life. Workload is reasonable with no requirements to work extra hours. If the person is responsible, there is no reason to stay late in the office or connect outside office.

Cons

Technology is new to Allstate, new technologies are difficult to implement and some teams are still doing waterfall and working with legacy applications. Although the Labs offer a more innovating environment, the XP methodology looks not too attractive, specially pair programming, for people with family and need of flexible working hours.
