Pros

Brand recognition is one of the best reasons to work for Allstate. Another good reason is they have a good product.

Cons

Too many changes in the past 5 years. There are too many bad apples within the organization which make it difficult for good employees.

Pros

great time off, pto,.education opportunities, (last 30 yrs).good pay raises for new employees that can obtain perfect customer svc surveys,.. has decent 401k and other pretax investment vehicles..work load management has improved.

Cons

super stressful, micro-managed,heavy computer tasked, undergoing workforce reduction stradegies for older, experienced workers.. long hours,, overtime is stonewalled. prefers younger, good looking employees.no longer values seniority,demands loyalty, but does not return loyalty.is expecting & planned for job hopping, short term careers from gen y employees..low level management is as scared of job loss as employees..morale is very low,
