schedule isn't permanent. If you get a not so good schedule chances are it'll get more favorable the longer you stay. Time off is decent

Cons

micro management high stress never ending demands and constant review of short comings at the mercy of your supervisor

Pros

Worked for some great direct managers and the pto time.

Cons

Where should I start? The lack of loyalty that this company has to the people who work hard by hiring an egotistical maniac like Glenn Shapiro. Many people lost their jobs because of his vision which is of stock prices rising. This company only cares about shareholders and not its own. The management teams in NY being the upper management wants to put everyone on performance management with the thought that it will motivate people to work hard. All that does is builds resentment. There is no room for advancement unless you want to kiss up and never question any process even if there are flaws. The pay raises are a joke. 1% is about average in NY. You can’t go up a pay band unless there is an opening in that band and you have to interview for it. There is no such thing as being promoted on your work. You’re only as good as your last good reinspection or closed loop feedback. The only bonus you can hope for is maybe getting to expense $10.00 for lunch other than that you have a better chance of hitting the lottery then getting any bonus. In the future Allstate will probably end up using independent adjusters to save money on benefits and supplies which means you guessed it more layoffs.
