Pros

Alphagraphics is an industry leader. I found that most of my fellow employees were high caliber, committed people. For the most part, the franchisees were also sharp, dedicated people, willing to learn and develop the skills and attitudes needed to grow their businesses.

Cons

New ownership has made many changes. Time will tell if those changes were positive or not, with respect to their effect on franchise support.

Pros

They will go above and beyond for franchisees.

Cons

Good luck with getting that 20% bonus this year or next their sales have slumped hard. The company is slow to act. It’s a clique at sr management, they brag about that. Major distrust issues between the tech team and HR.

Pros

I cannot think of a single “pro”.

Cons

I, along with 3 other people in production just quit within a week of each other, because of the terrible work culture at the franchise we were working at. Aside from the blatant favoritism and nepotism, the “favorites” at the company are allowed to walk around saying racist, sexist and homophobic comments with no repercussions solely because they are favored by the franchisee. The culture here is “sales vs production” and since the owner is a sales person, production is severely mistreated. 16 employees have either quit or been fired within the past 1.5 years but the franchisee refuses to see that he is the problem. And when employees DO speak up when the franchisee is doing something wrong (example: paying someone less than minimum wage, retaliation for bringing up genuine concerns to HR) he says they’re “bringing drama to the shop”. He would rather everyone sit back and watch him break labor laws and run an unethical company. I would not recommend working for this company and I think corporate needs to step in.
