Pros

Easy work, flexible hours, expectations are pretty clear. The higher-ups try to keep everyone motivated during the difficult/busy times and will offer overtime when that happens

Cons

Depending on the department training can be lacking, never really sure of what the future will hold for temp hires. Sometimes a bit too strict.

Pros

Every dept has free perks which is awesome. The company involvement in the community is great, they have a lot of fundraising raffle events that have good prizes. Donut day once a month is always yummy.

Cons

Being yelledat, screamed at, sworn at and personally attacked everyday is not what I expected when taking the job. If you are a sensitive person DO NOT take a customer care rep job. The co-workers are great, but the customers I deal with on a daily basis are horrible, evil people. I don't see a high rate of internal advancement. It seems kind of hard to advance through the company. Very high turnover rate, not a lot of people stay longer than a couple of years.

Its not a very hard job and the incoming call were not alot. Great for a student or someone thats out of highschool and wants to make a little extra on the side.

Cons

This company shows favoritism and it's very unstable due to it being a third party company so other bigger company's hire Alta to help with incoming or outgoing customer service jobs. So at any-giving time if metrics are not high the company can pull contract with Alta and you will be laid off.
