Great gig to learn a bunch about TMT and strategy with management that really cares about you

-Learn a ton about TMT and strategy -Lots of very interesting projects -talented peers -Quantitative heavy -Supportive and understanding management -ZERO WEEKEND WORK EVER -Bar tabs every friday

Cons

-You will work a lot, like 9am to midnight Monday to thursday at a minimum, friday's off by 5:30 -you can get stuck on a string of Fiber or Spectrum private equity due diligences in a row which can suck if that, so project work can get repetitive -Mostly telecom, sizeable tech (mostly data center / cloud stuff, and some sexy SaaS, almost no consumer tech), very little media -Business is growing faster than the firm can manage so they are reaching in hiring which can lead to some misses and can be frustrating for the talented folks

Extremely smart and talented people, great culture and perks that differentiate from the rest, compensation on par with other strategy firms, nice projects but can get boring very quickly

Cons

Can become extremely technical and you might feel as an engineer sometimes, if you end up being good at one thing you’ll likely do it over and over again, did not feel supported to take the next steps In my career
