Pros

-Decent compensation (>big 4) but nothing compared to mbb and other boutiques (ow, kearney) -lets you take unpaid leave -specialises in telecommunications, while media and tech are nonexistent

Cons

-severe cost cutting last year resulted in more than 80 staff laid off -of the staff laid off since local office inauguration, 100% were female despite claims of supporting diversity -alpha males and finbros make it an unpleasant place to work in -very bad work life balance, unless you're prepared to work 4am nights on projects consecutively, you are likely to lose your bonus. better off getting compensated in other firms

Pros

- Great for telco work - Some colleagues are very friendly, smart, and great to work with. - Compensation is matching (and in some cases exceeding) Tier-2 consultancies. Bonuses are great for SC and above.

Cons

- Some managers (esp. the ones who have been at the firm for >3yrs) can showcase the attributes of a bully and make life really difficult for new joiners. Culture can be toxic. - Since most of the work is due diligence, the firm as a whole is highly sensitive to the macroeconomics. - No brand outside certain PEs. Even top consultancies haven't heard of Altman Solon, which can be a roadblock when looking for an exit. - HR is invisible, with almost no processes and workflows. - Hours can be gruelling as most of the work is due diligence.

Pros

Relatively good salary (in good economic times with full bonus), some smart people

Cons

Micromanagement (some projects I had 4 partners + 1 principal, which also had conflicting opinions), rather a CDD factory not a good team, low EQ of too many superiors, never asked about my interests, overall very discouraging
