Pros

Yearly bonus, pay was regional standard.

Cons

No opportunities for hourly employees. No hourly employees are allowed to transfer to a salary position. They would not admit to this schism. Management would dodge the question. Even after earning a BS EE I couldn't transfer. It is due to an adversarial relationship between hourly/management because of the labor union. Management would not encourage education they would pay $1500 per calendar year of tuition for hourly, but salary would be paid 100% of the tuition. VCU is a MBA diploma mill for the up and coming young salary drones. The only engineers they would hire are fresh out of college so they could groom (brain wash) them into the company culture. The company is very secretive about their product and all the young engineers are like secrecy Nazis. Executive management allows marketing to run the company and they are a total brain dead bunch. I've seen them waste millions and then they would transfer those employees to more lucrative positions and the next group would only say "well, that was before my time", no accountability, then this group would repeat the same bone head mistakes. Lather, rinse, repeat, you get the picture.
