      Great benefits, but management impacts work-life balance

      Pros

      Great benefits and pay structure. Every year you get an annual merit increase based on performance and where you fall in your pay range. Your day to day life is heavily influenced by your direct manager, and same with the work-life balance. I’ve had managers where I work weekends, in office all the time. I’ve also had managers where I barely ever work weekends and work mostly remotely. It greatly depends who you’re reporting to.

      Cons

      Constant shift in the organization as restructures happen. Minimal upward movement available for those in finance due to outsourcing. If you have a bad boss, you have a bad time at work.

      - Weak organizational structure and lack of effective management systems - Limited management expertise and insufficient understanding of how processes actually operate - Excessive micromanagement, which reduces efficiency and employee autonomy - Extremely conservative culture that resists change, innovation, and process improvement - Decision‑making is slow and overly hierarchical - Knowledge silos and poor cross‑functional communication - Little empowerment or trust in employees to own their work
