Good place to work, has its cons

Pros

Management is very understanding of personal needs and are willing to compromise when you need to take time off or change your work habits. There is a ton of autonomy. The people that work for this company are great.

Cons

There is a lot of distance between senior management and reality. They often assign so many initiatives at once that it is nearly impossible to effectively execute some of them. Managements decisions do not make sense much of the time.

well it used to be compensation but those days are over when you are now essentially doing 3 jobs for 1. Ability to work from home, still decent health benefits and exceptional 401K (DPS) plan.

Cons

disorganized management, poor communication from HQ to field, timing of new initiatives never beginning at the start of a monthly sales cycle. The advancement process is a joke. The need to "check-in" and create presentation after presentation is out-dated and ridiculous.

Cons

Disorganized chain of command Discourage outside of the box thinking Prefer to recruit and groom in "the Altria way" than to bring in from the outside Senior management "fat cats" sacrifice morals to get ahead HR protects senior management and does not look out for employees' best interest Espouse admirable leadership model but live the exact opposite
