      Higher than average salaries, access to training programs, many opportunities for cross-functional positions (but not necessarily promotions).

      Cons

      A "club" for the chosen ones, extremely hierarchical, arrogance and a mentality that money will solve all challenges, seek uniform employee profile -- employees respected for behaving as worker bees, independent minded-individuals with new ideas need not apply.

      Pros

      Consistent and ongoing training as well as focused development of sales force makes this sales team one of the best. Benefits are unbelievable, starting pay is outstanding, and the company is expanding in a time when most companies are laying people off.

      Cons

      The challenging nature of the products and social ramifications make this product a challenging one to grow. The industry continues to decline and more and more regulations on the product threaten the growth of businesses who sell the products.
