      Pros

      There is a large emphasis on employee growth and benefits for employees. Very good benefits and work schedule. Everyone always is willing to help anyone with issues. It's a very open environment for collaboration.

      Cons

      How you look to senior management is highly dependent on who's your manager. If senior management does not like your manager, then the manager's team is probably not looked on too highly either.

      Pros

      The people make it a great place to work! Great sense of teamwork and willingness to help each other. Everyone has a good attitude.

      Cons

      Tobacco is a declining industry and there are many detractors. If you have a thin skin - this is definitely not the place for you.

      Pros

      The company pays very well compared to similiar positions but more importantly the general environment of the workplace is one of cooperation, encouragement and helpfulness. Putting aside everything else, the people make this company a great work environment.

      Cons

      All the above being said, entry-level work is more boring than my painting job during college. In addition, there exists in the air a general feeling of hopelessness considering the continuing downward spiral of the tobacco industry. Everyone knows the company has to shrink at some point no matter how many reorganizations and acquisitions it might make.
