Pros

Decent salary for no/low experience. Low expectations, no performance metrics or accountability/motivation to perform your daily job duties.

Cons

No raises our room for advancement (unless a Native/shareholder or friends of upper management). No management accountability or employee feedback. No communication. Unreliable IT infrastructure, HR/benefits/payroll only responds once you cc their management.

Pros

Pay: For the area of Havelock and knowing other contract works pay they were either on par or a few dollars more per hour, $13.56 at the time of my hiring. Leave: Though leave was small 3.08hrs per pay period, you did earn leave.

Cons

This was my first job out of military service. It was extreme hell, I say this because working in an environment where you could hear a pin drop on soft carpet just isn't for me or if you sneezed to loudly you would receive a warning. The work felt like you were in High School all over again, complete your "books" turning it in to your supervisor (if you can really call them that) and be graded on your work. It was a very demeaning job, if you were in the right group of people then you were set. If you weren't you can be sure someone was documenting your every move, especially if you went to the bathroom not on your precious 5min break every hour. The job has high turnover as many times they will have to let people go, so you always felt like your head was on the chopping block. If you were a female, considered young and attractive you were immediately put in the "in-crowd."
