Not Alutiiq specific, but it is a struggle most if not all Contractors and their employers have to endure. No sick leave, paid or not, our contracts dictate time allotted to miss before breach of contract and termination. Non negotiable amount of hours also. Again this following reason is also something a lot of contractors are subject to, no authorization for early dismissal or “59” , unless limit commander negotiates with management
