Pros

Lots of time off, WFH 3 days per week

Cons

Management is horrible at branch level. Unsure if it goes above that, doesn’t seem to be since other offices are way less restrictive and actually trust their people to do the job they were hired for. WFH is threatened regularly. Everything is a threat. There is no positive feedback at all. Your files are severely micromanaged from multiple people. All the monthly audits done are completely subjective and unfair, yet performances and raises are based on them. There is no straight forward performance objectives. They are up for interpretation and dependent on who is reviewing your file and can be biased. Policies change weekly so no one knows what to do anymore and no one seems to care. Everyone is unhappy and looking for employment elsewhere.

Pros

-Jewish Holidays throughout the year -Ability to work from home

Cons

-Constant state of chaos. There are constantly changes to procedures which make everyone's jobs harder. It appears that decisions are made on a whim without any foresight or input from those who actually have to do the work. -Overly demanding local and senior management -Unreasonably high work load -Constant Turnover -Having to do work on empty desks due to high turnover/vacancies -Lack of respect for employees who have been asked to do more than their fair share.

Pros

Claims assistant pool system is pretty laid back. Job is not difficult. I came in at a good time when company was growing quickly so I was promoted fairly quickly. Good experience for administrative duties. Good job if your new to the insurance industry. Friendly environment for the most part. A bunch of paid jewish holidays throughout the year since the CEO is jewish.

Cons

Hard to move up in the company if you want to become a claims adjuster at this time . Company has not promoted internal candidates to claims adjuster training in a while. Training needs for assistants need to be more clear so everyone is on the same page.
